She has served in public education since 1997 and is currently working on her Masters in Theology / PhD in Christian Education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Laura is married to Steve, who is the fire chief at Mcadory Fire. Their hearts are full of love for their immediate family: Christin, Dan and Connor; Austin, Stephanie, Henry and Eva Rose; Aidan and Kathryn; and Ashton.
