1 Samuel tells the story of kings and prophets, warriors and renegades, brotherly love and familial strife, while simultaneously explaining that God sovereignly reigns over all. Several key characters display trust in God to lead them through a variety of challenging scenarios, while other characters lack faith in God, which results in their demise.
