Student Ministry Mission's Fundraiser

For the month of February, the student ministry will be hosting its 2nd Annual “T-Shirt Campaign” Fundraiser. We are raising funds for our upcoming mission trip to Ashland, Kentucky hosted by the North American Mission Board (NAMB) —Send Relief. We will be spending an entire week in June serving alongside ministry centers in Eastern Kentucky. Each crewneck, shirt, and tote help a student serve on this trip (some for the first time). If you would like to participate in this year’s campaign fundraiser, follow the links provided or stop by the church offices to pick up your order form.

NOTE: Orders will be taken for the entire month of February and participants should expect to receive their order(s) by mid/late March.

The two designs of this year's fundraiser illustrate the common mission of the church. The first we titled, “…to the ends.” This design was created with Acts 1:8 in mind. As Jesus promises the work of the Holy Spirit on the early church in Jerusalem, he says, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This statement draws our attention back to Jesus’ previous command given to us in Matthew 28:19, 20, the Great Commission. The second we titled, “The Mission Road Map.” This design takes a road map of Hueytown to illustrate our mission to make disciples in our community. In addition to this road map, Matthew 28:19, 20 is displayed in the top three languages present in Hueytown according to recent research: English, Spanish, and Chinese.
