Spirit Month

Spirit Month is an annual tradition at Pleasant Ridge Student Ministry designed to help students connect, build friendships, and grow in their walk with Christ. Throughout the month of September, each Wednesday features a unique theme that creates a fun environment while reminding students that church is a place where everyone belongs.

Every night includes games, worship, biblical teaching, and small groups, making Spirit Month more than just themed dress-up nights. Our desire is for students to experience authentic community, hear the truth of God's Word, and invite friends who may not normally attend church.

Theme Schedule

💼 September 2 – Career Day

Come dressed as the career you hope to pursue after high school. Whether it's a firefighter, teacher, nurse, engineer, mechanic, athlete, or anything in between, show us what you're dreaming about!

🟢 September 9 – Neon Night

Light up the room by wearing your brightest neon colors! Grab your favorite fluorescent shirts, hats, shoes, or accessories and get ready for a fun night with friends.

🏈 September 16 – Homecoming

Show your school spirit by wearing your school colors, jersey, or school apparel as we celebrate our local schools together.

👕 September 23 – NHBC × PRBC

We're partnering with North Highlands Baptist Church Student Ministry for a special combined worship service. Wear your church merch and join students from both ministries for an exciting night of worship and fellowship.
